Hey, Girls!
Some time ago I went through all my hair products. I had too many of them, that’s why I wanted to give away those which happened to be unsuitable for me. At the same time, I noticed that I had quite a number of keratin hair masks! Of course I don’t use them all, but some of them are really amazing. And today’s post will be dedicated to the very keratin hair masks that I use regularly because I love the effects they leave me with.
I need to confess something: Whenever I find an efficacious cosmetics, which doesn’t happen often, I’d like to use it for the rest of my life. I also know that hair is fast to get used to certain products, and that’s why I carry on testing new products. The sad thing is that I often come across complete cosmetic disasters. Instead of improving the appearance of my hair, they either do absolutely nothing or leave my hair dry and static. That’s when I immediately reach for my tried-and-tested products to clean up the mess. What are my life-savers?
Round-Up of My Favorite Keratin Hair Masks
Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask
I reach for this mask the most often. It feels like my hair gets along with Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask really well, and I can tell this by seeing the effects. Every time I apply it, my strands become soft and glossy. It’s also nourished and hydrated, which I believe is due to the panthenol. Hydrolyzed keratin, in turn, makes my hair stronger and thicker. Now I have healthy and beautiful strands. And if I need them to look their best on a particular day, I always reach for Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask – a perfectly-looking style guaranteed.
Let me add that this mask is also easy to use, and it needs just 10 minutes to do its magic. The packaging has a wide mouth so it’s easy for me to scoop up the exact amount of the product I need. And even though I use it often, I haven’t run out of it yet – it’s 300 ml. Lastly, Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask doesn’t ruin my budget at all. Basically, if I had to choose just one favorite mask, it would be Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask.

SP Luxe Oil Keratin Restore Mask
My hairdresser was the one who showed me SP Luxe Oil Keratin Restore Mask. I bought it and I immediately fell in love with the results it delivers. It has a lot of plant oils and, as the name indicates, keratin. These ingredients make my hair moisturized, smooth and elastic. Naturally, the mask also strengthens the hair by reversing damage. It’s also said to combat frizz, which I believe it does marvelously but it’s hard for me to see this effect – my hair isn’t prone to frizz. Interestingly, you shouldn’t let SP Luxe Oil Keratin Restore Mask sit longer than for 5 minutes only. Express regeneration, right?
First I bought the 150 ml version, but I ran out of it pretty quickly. Then I decided to go for 400 ml which, in my opinion, is affordable. Even though this mask is easy to use, I think that you need to apply more than you do with Nanoil mask. As some of you already know, Keratin Restore Mask is just one product that makes up SP Luxe Oil line. If some of you use other cosmetics that belong to this series, let me know. Maybe I’ll buy the Protect Shampoo or conditioner.
Kérastase Discipline Maskeratine
Okay, Kerastase is popular, no doubt about it, but it was only recently that I bought my first packaging of their mask. The funny thing is that I didn’t take to this product at the beginning – it made my hair flat and dull. Later I discovered that I need to use tiny amounts, and then the mask works really well. It moisturizes my strands and makes them easier to style. What I love about Kérastase Discipline Maskeratine is the smell it leaves on my hair. And it stays with me for the entire day.
This mask is rather runny, and that’s why I always have this temptation to apply more than actually is needed. But let me tell you this again – using too much won’t get you anywhere. Instead, try applying it to the scalp. In my case, it doesn’t cause oily hair. Kérastase Discipline Maskeratine has 200 ml and is more expensive than the above-mentioned masks.
Ouai Thick Hair Treatment Masque
Now it’s time for something a bit more fancy, or luxurious. Let me tell you that I doubt I’d buy this hair mask myself – it’s so expensive! I got it from my friend, she gave me Ouai Thick Hair Treatment Masque as a gift. When it comes to the texture, I find it quite dense. From what I know it works best on thick and heavy hair, but to my surprise it manages to get me better-looking strands too. When you read the list of ingredients, you will see how many precious substances it includes: hydrolyzed keratin, ilipie and shea butter, as well as plant oils.
Whenever I use the Ouai Thick Hair Treatment Masque, it leaves my hair shiny and tamed. It also looks to me that this product makes my strands stronger and less brittle. In general, I’m highly satisfied with the results. It’s a shame, however, that this product costs so much.
As you can see, my round-up includes only four keratin hair masks. I know that it’s not much but trust me, once you find the right product for yourself, you don’t want to use other cosmetics. That’s why I recommend to you only the masks that you can find in Nanoil, Kérastase, Wella and Ouai offers. All of them deliver promised results, working best for dry, brittle and damaged hair. If you happen to use other hair masks, leave their names in the comments section below. I’d love to learn your picks.
